She is Italian, and a born entrepreneur.
Lodovica Dal Pozzo d’Annone likes nothing more than to share her love of art,

literature and her native cuisine from over the Alps.

He is French, but above all he is a proud Breton.
Patrick Jourdan’s  career has taken him across the globe and he is passionate

about music, sailing and aeroplanes.

It all began with travel, numerous journeys - whether for business or pleasure -

and a definite penchant for creature comforts, warm welcomes, quality service,

beautiful surroundings and the ring of authenticity.

Out of these experiences and discoveries was born the promise to one day, in turn,

welcome others, to be the best of hosts and share with their discerning guests

the simple elegance and generosity of genuine hospitality.

It was just a matter of time before they found the perfect setting: the Chateau de la Huberdière, which Lodovica and Patrick lovingly and exquisitely restored for two whole years before opening it to their guests.

 

We chose the Loire Valley for several reasons:

• Its cultural and heritage richness: Amboise, Chenonceau, Chaumont, Clos Lucé, Chambord, and Villandry...

• Its natural beauty, the Loire with its wild banks, the Cher, peaceful and romantic, the vineyards, and the game-filled state forests.

• Its accessibility: proximity to international airports, Paris, the TGV high-speed train and motorways.

• The variety of activities available.

• The serene refinement and kindness of the people of the Loire Valley.
