A château wedding 2 hrs 20 from Paris

Touraine has a rare advantage for a wedding: it is beautiful and it is close. Nazelles-Négron, where the château stands, is 2 hrs 20 from Paris and a little over an hour by train to Tours or Saint-Pierre-des-Corps.

That matters when you are welcoming guests from the Paris region or further afield. You marry in a Loire Valley setting without forcing an expedition on your loved ones. Guests arrive on the Friday, enjoy the Saturday and leave on the Sunday, with no road weariness.

The spaces for the ceremony and the reception

A wedding unfolds in several acts, and each deserves its setting. The estate offers several, to combine with your programme and the weather.

The budget for a château wedding depends on the season, the number of guests and the services. As a guide, exclusive use of the whole estate for a weekend, from Friday to Sunday, including the 21 beds, ranges from 4,000 € to 8,000 € depending on the season. The reception tables and chairs are available for a supplement. Rather than a fixed rate, we build a bespoke proposal once we understand your plans, with no hidden costs.

One detail couples appreciate: we charge no corkage. You bring your own wines, champagnes and spirits, and you keep control of this often heavy line of the budget.

Housing your loved ones on site

One of the real luxuries of a château wedding is being able to house close family on site. The estate's ten suites, with their 21 beds, keep the couple and their loved ones at the heart of the celebration, with no late-night drive. You gather at dawn around coffee, you carry on the party without watching for the last taxi.

For larger guest lists, we keep a list of partner cottages and hotels less than ten minutes away. The same private-estate logic also serves family gatherings and large tables. The place is made for bringing people together.

Suppliers, caterer and coordination

A successful wedding rests on a good team. We work with trusted suppliers from the region, caterers, florists, musicians, and we put you in touch according to the spirit you are after. You remain free to bring your own suppliers if you prefer.

Getting married in any season

We often picture a wedding in summer, but the château lends itself to every season. Spring offers a park in bloom, autumn its warm colours, winter the intimacy of the drawing rooms and the log fire. Each season has its light and its mood, and marrying outside the busiest months also leaves more choice of dates.
